HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED!!
I have heard and seen good reviews about the property but to my experience this was highly disappointed, in the first week of June 2023, we reserved one room for a night there, transaction and confirmation on the email was done. We were half way through Shimla and the manager or somebody named Rohit from the property calling us and making up a story that they cannot provide us with the room. Even after a lot of communications and email confirmation for the room, he did not let us get onto the property and suggested us some alternatives! Later he agreed to compensate it with one day extra room booking whenever we visit again but that too not on the email, just verbally and of course it doesn’t happen this way. The entire trip got ruined cuz of Rohit and White Haven. I would request the owner and the management team to look after this once.
The room, the staff, the location and the view from the balcony for the suite room is top notch. The food we tried was below average (Mutton curry) as the meat was tough and fatty (Maybe it's made this way in the region. Not sure). The breakfast was okay and nothing to write home about. My only issue was that I requested for a half board option which i was ready to pay to extend my stay a little longer maybe till 4 or 5 PM as my bus back to Delhi was at 9 PM however i was told to pay the full day charge if I were to avail this option. I maybe wrong but I believe the homestay was empty and I think we were the only occupants and hence I don't know why I was told to pay for one full day when a half day payment could have easily been arranged and hence they could have been more accommodating. Apart from this my stay was comfortable and the place is great.
Excellent place, hospitable staff, excellent freshly cooked food big beautiful rooms with marvellous views. Instead of staying at any five star hotel one should definitely consider this property. Very well organised new year party with bonfire and great live music.
Best facility to stay in Shimla. Located outside the city so definitely traffic is minimal and host is very accommodating and nice. Definitely worth the money. The view from suite is breathtaking, food is delicious and suite is very spacious, clean.

3 months agoGood, nice stay , comfortable , however if you are new, way towards this Homestay can be difficult during night time. Google map helps.
