The most beautiful and clean fort I've ever seen. The views from the fort are mesmerising to say the least. From the flowers to the placement of the trees, everything is done to perfection. I really loved this place. Felt like something close to heaven. I wish to go back again soon. It was off season when I went. So the lack of people made everything look even better. Such an amazing piece of architecture and important part of our Indian history. Loved it ☺️✨️
Visiting Kangra Fort was like stepping back in time.The views from the fort are breathtaking. Standing at the edge, looking out over the lush green valleys, I felt a deep connection with the past.However, it's clear that the fort has seen better days, and I truly hope the government considers restoring it to its former glory. This historic site deserves better preservation, not just for its beauty but for the rich history it represents.
The place was a great remembrance of the days long gone, showcasing historical wealth. It's an architectural marvel, and it's evident that despite many natural disasters there has been quite the effort put in by the government and historians to restore the sanctity of the place. However administration could be much better, as there was no one inside the castle to keep a check on the tourists. Also quite unsafe as many places high up have no protective coverage and carelessness can cost someone everything.
Fort is good but at entrance you need to scan the code and have to fill the form and
Charges is Rs.25 they will not take cash only online payment is available if you are visiting this place make sure you have online payments apps
It's a good place to visit, not so popular but everyone should visit this fort once. Please don't forget to carry water bottles. Be prepared to walk a lot. It has too many stairs and long ramps. View from the fort is beautiful. They provide an audio guide as well which is chargeable. Entry ticket is 20 per person but has to be online. Scan a code there, go to asi website and pay.
It is clean fort and has a temple inside.
Also, please stop writing on fort walls and keep the place clean.
